I offer three training programs depending on your goals and your horse's prior training: Foundations & First Rides, Under Saddle Development, and Trail Riding.

Private coaching sessions are also available for owners seeking one-on-one guidance rather than a longer training program for their horse.

Foundations & First Rides

This program is designed for young horses or horses in the early stages of their education.

Training focuses on establishing clear communication, emotional regulation, and a solid foundation both on the ground and under saddle.

Work may include groundwork, preparation for riding, first rides, or rebuilding foundational understanding for horses that need a quieter, more thoughtful start. Progress is guided by the horse’s readiness rather than a fixed timeline, with an emphasis on creating calm, confident responses and horses that can move on to the next steps in their educations with a solid foundation.

Under Saddle Development

This program supports horses that are already under saddle and could benefit from continued development in balance, responsiveness, and confidence. Training is tailored to the individual horse and may include improving clarity of aids, quality of gaits, relaxation, straightness, and progressive skill development.

Work draws from classical training principles and learning theory to support sound movement, emotional stability, and clear communication across both English and Western disciplines. This may also include introductory work over poles, cavaletti, or small fences to develop coordination, rhythm, and confidence.

Trail Riding

This program is designed to support horses in developing confidence, fitness, and adaptability in trail environments. Training combines thoughtful exposure, consistent mileage, and clear communication so horses learn to navigate new situations calmly and safely.

Sessions may include groundwork, in-hand exposure, and riding out on trails, with an emphasis on emotional regulation, relaxation, and responsiveness. Miles are added progressively, allowing horses to build experience and physical conditioning without becoming overwhelmed.

Because I offer mobile training, this program depends on access to suitable trail environments at your barn. Future options for trailering from your property may be available.
